3 of us arrived at the door of this place to grab a drink and wait for 5 other friends to arrive running about 10 mins late (approx. 10.45pm on 1st March 2013).
We were stopped by what was supposed to be their "greeter" and security at the door , to be told our 55y.o lady friend with us(who was sober and was walking with a slight limp at the time) was "drunk" and couldn't come in. The 2 of us chaperoning her explained that she wasn't at all , the "greeter" even had the gall to say -- "she has blood shot eyes" (they weren't) which he suggested goes with being drunk.
In my 54 years it was the most Rotten , demeaning and condescending treatment of someone going into an establishment I have ever seen.
Needless to say our dear friend was most unhappy and very irate , and it put quite a "spoiler" on our evening around Auckland (we are locals).
We will NEVER go back to this place again -- and YOU on the door , I hope your boss see's this.
Approx. $50-60 per round of drinks lost from this group of 8 friends.

If you like your craft beer, Andrew Andrew is the place to be. Emmersons and Epic are on tap - need I say more.
The atmosphere at Andrew Andrew can get quite loud so best to get there early on an arvo and get the talking over and done with!

By far the best atmosphere on the Viaduct if not Auckland.

For a bar hopper like myself, its hard to stay entertained in one place, but once you enter this bar you don't have to leave at all..Drinks are made to near perfect by May.. the DJ has some of the best beats (i could only wish for a lil bit of West Coast Gangsta Flava in the mix) kept me going till early hours of the morning last night!

Its not over crowded by Teenie Boppers and you can sit outside on the covered deck and smoke Sheesha!!

Highly recommend to all to visit!!
