Fantastic wine list which makes Agents and Merchants one of my favourite downtown venues. Too cold to stay outside in the lane at this time of the year but the atmosphere is nice and cosy indoors so a visit to Agents and Merchants is even more appealing.

Had the Eye Fillet at Agents & Merchants the other day - fantastic to say the least. Good portion size and matched with brocolini and mash - a real treat for winter dining. Didnt want to leave - always a good sign.

Agents & Merchants is still a great place to head to - especially as the Britomart area is thriving with new bars and restaurants! Definitely recommend!

I like this bar but the no drinks outside after 12 kills it a little bit. Can get ridiculously packed sometimes too.

Thanks for your feedback. The lane is now licensed and able to be enjoyed until 4am, which makes things far less crowded. - Report

Although it's new to the down-town area, I've come to think of Agents and Merchants as my 'home away from home'! I've been at least 5-6 times in the last 6 months- you can never have too much of a good thing I suppose!

Great Venue, attended a function here. Plenty of parking, Tapas were brilliant and function ran seamlessly! With Racket bar out the back this is really quite a large Venue!
Stopped for coffee at there kiosk window the other day which is a novel idea, only wished I had purchased one of the muffins!
