Written and directed by Taika Waititi and inspired by the Oscar-nominated Two Cars, One Night, BOY is a hilarious and heartfelt tale about heroes, magic and Michael Jackson. The year is 1984, and as ‘Thriller’ takes over the playground, Boy and Rocky welcome back their father, Alamein, who they believe to be a deep sea diver, war hero, rugby legend and close relative of Michael Jackson. In reality Alamein is an inept, wannabe gangster who has been in jail for robbery.
