If finding a bargain is your thing, then head on down to the Otara Flea Market. It’s the biggest street market in New Zealand, and gets around 5,000 foot traffic every Saturday.

There’s a range of Pacific Islanders, Māori and Asian stalls which gather each week, creating a unique New Zealand multicultural experience.

You’ll find Pacific Island elders which sell traditional tapa cloth and ti vaevae (quilts). Not to mention a broad range of food stalls, which are sure to fuel your bargain hunt.

There’s just over 200 different stalls on offer, there’s a wholesome atmosphere down here with music playing loudly, the aroma of different cuisines floating in the air as you shop till you drop.
