AUCKLAND HOT 5 - APRIL 2018

BRING THE NOISE

April sees a raft of internationally acclaimed musical heavyweights hitting our shores with something to satisfy most musical tastes. Highlights include Rag’n’Bone Man, the powerhouse duo of Sheryl Crow and Melissa Etheridge, Lionel Ritchie, Halsey and The Killers. Breathe people, just breathe.

NOT JUST ANOTHER BRICK IN THE WALL

LEGO® lovers look out! Come and see a whole new world of LEGO featuring block-building skills that will blow your mind. LEGO® Certified Professional Ryan McNaught (aka Brickman) and his team have spent a jaw-dropping 4,944 hours building 50 incredible LEGO masterpieces … and you thought your house was a grand design!

MOVIE-GOING-MAGIC

Not much to see here: (amongst other things) only what is quite likely to be one of the biggest movie releases of all time. April’s biggest, best and most unmissable big screen releases all in one handy guide.

TREATS + EATS

Although the upsides to a burgeoning Auckland population aren’t immediately obvious, one thing that you can take solace from is that a growing appetite means there’s always new dining finds to explore. Five newbies that opened their doors last month have already set local palates racing - whilst you’re stuck on your commute start making plans to visit any one of these finds and let us know what you think. New finds include; Williams Eatery, Go Go Daddy, Wu & You, Vic Road Kitchen and the brand new Teddy’s.

MAKE SOME ROOM

Is it too late to jump on the Warriors bandwagon yet? We’re liking what we’re seeing from the Penrose posse and with 4 wins from 4, it’s great to (ahem) see an Auckland side doing so well. There’s plenty of room for fair weather supporters on this band-wagon - and what better way to show your support than by snapping up a ticket to the SKYCITY Double Header where the Warriors take on the Cowboys and he Tigers battle the Storm. It’s going to be big! SHOW US SOME LOVE
