Great movie years.

This year has been special with the likes of the hangover, inglorious basterds and even public enemies was another i really enjoyed.

It got me thinking about shawshank redemption which is a movie that clearly deserves an oscar but did not win as it came out the same year as forest gump and pulp fiction in 1994.

What were some other movies that didnt gain the accolades they deserved due to the timing of release?
