The Devonport playground is a pretty good stop-off when popping into the shops and cafes. A bit dated but our 2 under 8's seem to like it!

Onepoto domain is pretty good too - quite spread out so you've got to keep your eye on them but a good spot to teach them to ride their bikes.
The park on browns bay beach is also right up there as one of aucklands best play parks but it can get really busy.
