Unknown was a great movie. The concept of banging your head and forgetting your identify meant we thought we knew what the movie was going to be about. But in reality it surprised us right from the start. My husband commented after about 20 mins "aaagh, I can't even start to figure out how this one will play out - which is great!" Definitely one with a different approach to a common theme, some great twists and hanging out right to the end to piece it all together. Happy with the ending (didn't disappoint) with all loose ends tied up (none of that 'I wonder why...I wondered what happened to...? questioning that you're often left with at the end of the movie).
Definitely an enjoyable movie and Liam Neeson is always a strong actor.
Unknown was a lot of fun and I can tell they were going for the whole Taken angle of Liam Neeson's repertoire but for some reason it just didn't come together as well as Taken. There are some good performances, and Liam Neeson's gruff pissed off character serves him well in Unknown but overall the movie fell flat with a predictable plot and disappointing resolution.
