"We all have a talent Tom, what’s yours?" – and so begins the demise of beautiful playboy Dickie Greenleaf (Law) as his newly acquired ‘friend’, would be doppelganger Tom Ripley (Damon), gets set to show his aptitude for murder.

Cheekbone-tastic Law is sublime in the role of the languid Dickie while Matt Damon is deceptively evil as Tom, in this beautifully shot Minghella offering.

Backed up well by Gywneth Paltrow as Dickie's gal and Cate Blanchet as another millionaire-heir the talented actors and beautiful scenery make this an undeniable masterpiece.
