Couldn't get what the appeal was about - The Me Who Stare At Goats probably had the most impressive line up of male Hollywood a-listers, and I'm not saying they were underused but I was just quite disappointed given the hype.

I was in the book, chapter 8 "the predator" and having read the book too, I wasn't sure how they would make a movie out of that. I was sent the script before they made the movie. I think they did a great job and made things that are more true then not, into something funny but yet... real. George Clooney plays many characters from the book but mostly pattered after my real life. You can see the scenes they picked up right out of "the crazy rulers of the world", Jon Ronsons BBC special. I was in the first of the three series. The choke me scene and the predator scene we lifted directly out of the BBC special. I was shocked how much George played me and I wasn't on the inside of the film at all. Since then, there has been a great upsurge in interest in remote viewing, the first earth battalion and the predator "now called the the defender". It is a funny movie but yet based on real stuff. I would recommend it to anyone, but then again, I'm represented in the movie so I'm biased. But none the less, I hope those who view it do a bit of research into the "true" stuff behind the funny scenes.

What a great movie! Very different to what I thought it was about - and very mind blowing it is based on a true story!!
Go see it & you'll understand what I mean - really funny too!
George still looks good too!
