Finally got around to seeing The Lovely Bones last night - thought it was ok and indeed agreed with your reviewer about the great performance by the young girl.
There was a bit too much 'fluff' but didnt think The Lovely Bones was bad enough to warrant two stars...
Also - does anyone know if it was filmed in NZ at all (any of it)?

The movie was good and captured my attention throughout. I liked the creativity but it just didn't wow me. However I must say its worth watching.

What a beautiful name for such beautiful people. The Lovely Bones is very moving... gives one a different outlook on such unhappy events.. Loved it. Support our NZ movie makers...

The book is 100% better than the movie. I thoroughly enjoyed the book but did not feel the same about the movie. Some of the scenes were strange and a bit too arty for the film.

I thought the movie was okay......i like the stars that he chose to play each character.....Susan Sarandon never ceases to amaze me on how well she always plays the characters that she has in any movie that she is in.......but I think that Peter Jackson is an awesome Director.

I was lucky enough to win the View Wgtn tickets to the premiere (thanks guys!!) of Lovely Bones. It was an amazing experience and definitely got me into the good books with my mrs!

The movie itself was real impressive. Went and saw it a 2nd time and still enjoyed it. The special effects were wicked. The ending was a bit of a let down but have heard it was true to the book.
