Really enjoyable story - fabulous 3D effects and some funny characters. Definitely worth seeing in 3D. We took a range of kids aged from 5yrs to 10yrs and they all LOVED it. No overly-scary moments so if you have a preschooler used to IceAge/Madagascar type movies, they should be fine. The opening scene with the scary animal chasing them is probably about as bad as it gets, so if you get through that, you'll be fine! Our kids all loved it and Belt is now a firm family favourite

Each Animation story seems to out do the last and 'The Croods' is no different.

This is a feel good movie packed with family values, and an easily relatable story of a father, Grug, trying to protect his little girl, Eep, even though she has itchy feet and wants to explore the world.

When a stranger, Guy, turns up and introduces the family to fire, shoes and his pet sloth, life becomes a little bit harder for dad to keep the status quo, especially when Guy insists that the end of the world is nigh. The family are forced to explore the world and, try to stay alive...
