When I first started watching the film it immediately brought to mind a film that I had watched a few years ago called Serving Sarah, which starred Matthew Perry and Elizabeth Hurley. Perry's character is trying to serve papers on the girl, they fall in love, blah,blah,blah........ but that was where the similarities ended. Although the story was a little predictable at times, it did actually have a plot with a slight twist to it. and in return I wanted to keep on watching it.
Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler make a good duo, and yes there was chemistry between them, especially when they are trying to get one up on eachother when they are spending a night at a B&B, which happened to be where they stayed on honeymoon.
In all I did enjoy the film, which at times did give me a chuckle, and it will be one of those films that I could watch again on a lazy afternoon.
What a snooze fest - literally, my husband who attended a premier of this movie with me was asleep for most of it. I wanted to like it because I am a fan of the main actors but Jennifer seemeed unconvincing to me in her role and the chemisty between her and Gerard was lacking. It seemed long and by the end I was glad for the finish. A bit of a let down for me.
