Great movie!! Had me hooked right until the end, I love a good conspiracy!

Exceptional movie - had me second guessing where I thought it was heading every 5 minutes! One of Scorcese's best - it will be one of the better movies you'll see in a while!

One of those movies that keep you captivated, some brilliant acting, great scenes, the constant flashes into DiCaprio's character's mind keep you guessing throughout for the truth or should I say that which was real and that which was not and then the end arrives. This is where I personally felt kind of disappointed, kind of wanting something more..more answers, more clarity..or maybe I just found it hard to follow. I give it a 3 out of 5.

I found this film a little hard to follow and it was difficult at times to distinguish between what was being portrayed as reality and what was meant to be a dream.
In saying that I was fixated on the screen throughout the entire film as was entertained by the many twists and turns in the plot.
It is quite a long film so a pre-movie toilet stop is a must.
I recommend this film to anybody who enjoys indulging in a bit of in-film detective work themselves.

Shutter Island is more like 4 & 1/2 stars but it gets 5 because it's far better than most movies i've seen this year. Kept my attention the entire time & was definitely entertaining, both mentally & visually. Recommended! :)
