Ponyo, a great animation for the whole family. Not quite as formulaic as Miyazaki can be but just as beautifully animated as Miyazaki usually is. Yes this was the dubbed version I watched with Liam Neeson's voice, very obvious but well casted. The animation feels very japanese and very Miyazaki in it's style and beauty. I loved this film; primarly because of the wonderful animation, unique storyline around who Ponyo is and where she wants to be as well as the underlying messages of what is happening to our world around us. Rent it and have a watch with or without the kids. If you haven't yet seen Spirited Away by all means rent that too.
