Beautiful scenes and magical images. This is a slow moving but captivating film that keeps you thinking about it, long after it's finished.
My friend took her 5 year old, who loved it - so it is suitable for young and young at heart!

Life of Pi is an enjoyable film. The well developed characters (humans & animals!) make this adventure heartwarming and a lovely story to watch unfold. Ang Lee also manages to effectively incorporate special effects in a way that enhances, not detracts, from the story. Overall, Life of Pi is a great film that all ages can enjoy.

A gripping and moving story with a few laughs thrown in. I haven't read the book, but I think the movie makers have done a good job with bringing the book to life on screen.

I would recommend watching it. Not sure what it's like in 3D as I watched it in 2D. But a friend who watched it in 3D said that the 3D was only okay, that's why I went for 2D.
