Disappointing from Foxx but stock standard Gerard Butler film in terms of performance (at least it wasnt a romcom right) ... thought the story ending could have been a bit better. Law Abiding Citizen is still well worth a look.

This was a good movie, It was crazier than I thought, But in a good way, Deff worth watching if you like a good Thriller....=)

My husband and I watched this film in our hotel room in the States while we waited out a tsunami warning and I was glad we choose it from the list available. This movie was a bit of a different story, which left the viewer’s sympathy shift between the characters throughout the film. I felt Gerard Butler played his character convincingly and Jamie Fox was excellent in the role opposite him. This movie might be a little graphic in some scenes for some people’s taste but if you can get past that there are some complex characters to come to grips with. A good watch.

4 & 1/2 stars. Gerard Butler's best movie so far, in my opinion. Great explosions & stunts, a really cool story line about a man wanting justice and a pretty good experience all round. Jamie Foxx is annoying, though, which lets down the film slightly. Otherwise, I really recommend it.
