How To Train Your Dragon is without a doubt the most well realised DreamWorks Animation films so far. While the film has the usual DreamWorks traits of celebrity voices and humour aimed at the parents in the audience, it also borrows some of rival studio Pixar's pixie dust by giving the film a heart. All gimmicks aside this movie has a rich story line and satisfying character development. Kids will also love the 3D aspect. A must see for lovers of animation.

This was most definitely one of the best movies I've seen for a while. The story line was great, it had great emotional change levels and kept you captivated.
While watching the movie you feel like you're the character, that you're controlling his thought process.
To cap it off, the 3D did no disappoint. It was smooth and flowing and particularly through the flying scene was just amazing stuff.

Definitely rate this movie 5 stars and can't wait for it to come out on DVD

Mr 5 LOVED this movie - so good can you take me again please!
Even his Dad enjoyed this one -
"way better than Alvin & the Chipmunks 2!"
So I will be taking him again to see for myself!

Great to see Jay Baruchel doing really well this year with leading roles. How To Train Your Dragon was awesome, a real treat. It's great to watch a kids movie that good. Definitely makes me want to own a dragon. Had me crying and feeling triumphant at the right times. Go see it, highly recommended!

I just caught a preview of How To Train Your Dragon and thought it was pretty awesome - finally a kids movie where the 3D really worked (though why the cinemas don't have kid sized glasses I don't know!). The story was well written, the animation amazing and not at all scary. Definitely worth seeing!

Just returned from a preview screening of How To Train Your Dragon with my 3 year old daughter and we both really liked it.
Good graphics and a few laughs that adults will enjoy as much as the kids.
The 3-d effects are not as awesome as I was expecting (particularly considering some of the elements of the film - (fire breathing dragons etc etc) but nevertheless it is hard to compete with Avatar isn't it.
Good fun
