I have been fortunate to attend a preview of this movie with my family--two older children. We all thoroughly enjoyed it. A well devised storyline with the usual Disney good versus evil characters who always break into song. The songs themselves are quite catchy as i found myself humming the tune of one of them on the way out.
The story itself is based on the Hans Anderson Story of 'The Ice Princess' and is therefore set seemingly somewhere in Norway/Sweden-from the looks of the architecture. Its a lovely take on the story and revolves around what is the meaning of true love. Would pre-schoolers like it? Well there is a rather frightening extremely large snow monster at one point in the story and the ice queen is quite threatening at times so you might have tears. However from 5 upwards you should be safe and even my older kids enjoyed it as well. A great Christmas or post Christmas family outing when the day is too hot and you need some airconditioning. Your money will be well spent
