I am in no way a Marvel movie fan ('boy movies' is what I usually refer to them as) but I'd heard from friends dragged along by their boyfriends that Deadpool was funny and actually worth watching. There is continual clever spoken humor and Dead Pool's narration is complete with pop-culture references which span the decades so everyone will pick up a laugh somewhere. The movie is just over 2 hours long but it flew by when I often struggle after the 90 minute mark.

Deadpool is Marvel at it's best. It was full of humour, so much so I struggled to breathe I laughed so much. Ryan Reynolds is at his best in this film. I can not wait to see more of him in future installments.

I highly recommend this movie to everyone! It's a must watch even if you don't usually like watching comic movies.

I'd give it 6 out of 5 given the opportunity. I cannot tell you how happy I am to see so much sense of humour and great sense of humour at that in a comic flick. I am not a fan of comics but I enjoy most comic based films. Some of them take this stuff way too seriously. Not this one. It's a pure joy to watch.
The jokes are well timed, there's lots of innuendo, Ryan Renolds is actually good in this, it's action packed and the female character has character. Not to mention Morena Baccarin has quite a post-Firefly following so great to see her in this.
In short - it is AWESOME! I'm downloading the Salt and Pepa Shoop song as we speak!
