I totally enjoyed this movie which I didn't really expect. The musical numbers were fantastic and though predictable in places I really enjoyed the storyline and the little bit of eye candy in the form of Cam Gigandet. My husband also watched and enjoyed it to which surprised me as I thought the musical parts might put him off.

Burlesque was chock full of divas and drama. But despite the predictable plot and shallow characters, the songs and pace kept the film lively. Cher was mesmerising on screen in her first musical role and Christina Aguilera was better than expected. Definitely a fun movie-watching experience.
