I really like Gold Class, even though I have only been there twice (mainly because it is too expensive!). Most recently was for a work function where we saw The Lone Ranger.
Prior to seeing the film, we had drinks in their small function room area, which you can hire out. The service was great and it was nice to relax before going in.
During the movie, out came burgers and ice creams - perfect movie meal! We had pre-ordered all the food and I definitely think it is more exciting to have a meal while in Gold Class - I think it really enhances the experience!
I had the 'Gold Class beef burger' which was delicious and a vanilla ice cream. They also serve starters like onion rings, wedges and antipasto platters and for mains - pizzas, nachos and Thai green curry, plus desserts! I would love to go back and try 'The Godfather Sundae' as it sounds absolutely delicious!
Overall, a good experience. Just wish I could go more often!
Worst and most expensive movie experience we have had. Not the film but the theatre. Went to view Leonardo at the Court of Milan at 2.00 m Sunday. Booked online. Our seats were occupied by someone else. Had to sit in front row. Usher didn't check the offending couples tickets to see whether they were sitting in wrong seats. Hugely intrusive loud and inappropriate sound track from Titanic & The Hobbit before the movie started. Complained to management and took up up two "back up" seats at back of theatre. Were offered complimentary coffees and accepted for one.. Had previously seen the film at the Bridgeway where the experience was much more acceptable and 230% cheaper. Never again Gold Class.
Well worth the extra cost, took a date here and it was a huge success! They even bring food to your seat! brililant.
