Victoria Pircture Palace is a great little community theatre in Devonport. Ok, it's not the flashest around but there's a real sense of nostalgia here and perhaps what is quite surprising is the fact that the Victoria Picture Palace shows current blockbusters. Grab a ferry, have a bite at olive press or drink at didas and catch a film - a lovely outing.

I love the building but the marks on the screen that were visible throughout were very annoying as was the lack of any kind of air conditioning...

I love the Victoria Picture Palace building and think it's awesome that it has finally been resurrected. It is a lot bigger on the inside than you expect with several different theatres - the biggest one can be used for movies and live theatre. Great to have something like this in Devonport.

Good initial reaction to Devonport's Victoria Picture Palace...I just hope the locals get behind it (went tonight and there were about 8 people there...c'mon peoples!)
