2012 Academy Award Nominations

New Zealand's own Bret McKenzie has landed himself an Oscar nomination for his song Man or Muppet from the recent Disney hit The Muppets. Listen to the song here.

Martin Scorsese's 3D children's movie Hugo leads nominations with 12, followed by critical darling the silent film The Artist with 11. Moneyball, starring Brad Pitt and Steven Spielberg's War Horse are tied for third place with six nominations each.
