good to see a different cuisine type hit the Auckland dining scene (seems every other is covered these days) so I was pretty keen to check out Ipanema after driving past it everyday on the way to work. Setting is a little plain (certainly no striking reno's etc) but ambiance was pretty good with some nice background music playing. My main of the feijoada was nice and rich - certainly filling and good to see they didn't skimp on the pork! I'd go back to Ipanema again so overall a reasonable experience.
