Checked out The Elephant Wrestler on Friday night. Everybody is talking about the great new bar in Takapuna, so we thought we need to give it a shot. Great pub. The atmosphere was just amazing. They were really busy, but we still managed to get a table. The waitress spotted the last table outside in the courtyard. Beautiful out there. The plants all over the wall look unique. The staff was really good, trying their best to look after us, even it was so busy. Always smiling - no sign of stress. The food was tasty and well presented. We had a carving board - huge - a whole chicken we got. We used to go to the Copper Room a lot, but I like the new place so much more. Open space, not too hot inside, great outside area. Will be back.
